Everyone is welcome to attend the annual Service of Remembrance at Weymouth Crematorium next month.

The special remembrance service will be held at 2pm on 13 October. It provides a time of reflection for anyone to remember a loved one, friend or colleague, regardless of when or where their funeral took place.
The open faith service, which will be led by Rev Nick Clarke and Civil Celebrant Philippa Roberts. It will include music, readings, poems, hymns and the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one.

Cllr Tony Alford, Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Customer, Community and Regulatory Services, said: “Everyone is welcome to attend this service to remember loved ones. This service offers a chance for us all to reflect whatever our faith. Everyone is welcome.”
The chapel at Weymouth Crematorium is open for reflection or private prayer from 9am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday, when no service is in progress.
A Book of Remembrance is situated in a room to the rear of the cloisters and is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm, and on weekends and Bank Holidays 10am to 4pm.
