Dorset welcomes £438,000 grant from Department for Travel to improve walking and cycling
We are delighted to announce that the Government’s Department for Transport has awarded £438,000 to Dorset Council as part of the Active Travel Fund. This funding will be used for walking and cycling improvements across the county as we move towards a greener, cleaner Dorset.
Next stage for the Purbeck Local Plan
The final stage of consultation by Dorset Council for the Purbeck Local Plan starts today (13 November). This is to ensure that the plan is legally sound and compliant with planning laws.
