“We’ve chosen to give these projects a boost because we recognise they will make a real difference to communities in Dorset, and help the council meet the priorities that have been set out in the Dorset Council Plan 2020-2024.”

With more and more people using mobility scooters and wheelchairs, and not allowed in the road except to cross it, it becomes more necessary to make kerb access to footpaths a necessity. The footpaths in Dorchester town are hazardous as well with uneven surfaces and sloping driveways making it difficult to navigate safely. I urge you to make footpaths and access to them a priority n your walking cycling and horse riding programme.
