A previously deferred report on public realm improvements to Custom House Quay in Weymouth, is due to be presented to the Western and Southern Area Planning Committee this Thursday, 4 November.
The Dorset Council managed fund helps ‘not for profit’ community groups or cultural groups that are looking for funds. These groups can be museums, community, sports or arts organisations. The fund can award up to £5,000 towards a project.
As part of Dorset’s Covid-19 recovery strategy, Visit Dorset, Dorset Council’s tourism team responsible for promoting the county, has launched a new and improved website to support the local economy and generate more tourism visits and bookings.
