Funding deadline alert! Dorset’s social, voluntary and community sector have until 1 April to submit their application for financial support with their running costs.
The Organisational Support Revenue Fund (OSRF) will provide core revenue support to local community organisations that address the needs of disadvantaged, under served and marginalized communities in Dorset.
Social, voluntary and community sector organisations that support the needs of vulnerable people in the community and provide activities can apply for a grant of between £5,000 – £10,000 per annum for up to two years to help with their running costs.
Cllr Laura Miller, Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Customer and Community Services, said:
“I’m delighted Dorset Council is able to offer this support to community and voluntary organisations.
“The hard work and dedication of individuals, volunteers and community groups in Dorset is immense, and the projects and events that we fund make such a real difference to people’s lives.
“We look forward to receiving applications from a wide range of organisations.”
Applications must be submitted on the council’s online application form. Further details including eligibility, exclusions, funding criteria, closing dates and guidance on completing your online application form can be found on the council’s website.
If you require any further information before applying, please contact a member of the team on communities@dorsetcouncil.gov.
All applications must be received by Friday 1 April. Awards will be made on 20 April.
