Road maintenance

Using a variety of surface treatments ensures that more of Dorset Council’s roads get repaired with the budget available, compared to using resurfacing alone.

Please use our online form to report highway-related issues/damage. This goes directly to the local community highways officer for assessment.

  3. The end of Matlock Rd,Ferndown which joins Wollaton Rd is in need of repair.

  4. Could we have the slow signs repainted on our roads in Weymouth particularly dangerous when you live in a road with a hill at the top, where visabilty makes it damgerous

  5. Still waiting for a response regarding the dreadful state of the road at Blandford St. Mary opposite DCM tyres, which was left in a terrible state after being ‘ repaired ‘ 2 years ago.

  6. Can you PLEASE redo the white lines on the Julian and Canford Bridges in Wimborne. These bridges are very old and narrow and the traffic find it difficult to keep on their correct side of the road . Wing mirrors are often smashed.

    Thank you

  7. When are Dorset council going to repair the road and footpaths in highfield road corfe Mullen they are in a appalling state of disrepair with many trip hazards, broken kerb stones, potholes, uneven and cracks road and pavement surfaces,as well as the pavement having the gravel of previous works showing thou shoddy workmanship.
Have been reporting this for a few years now nothing ever gets done just gets no fault from the council.
even the local councillors have absolutely no interest in the absolute disgusting state of the main bus route from broadstone to Wimborne.
