Networks associated with O2 appear to receive very little signal for 4G and phone signal within Dorchester Town itself. The public wifi is not effective either. Are there plans to improve thee essential services in our County Town in the near future?
The 5G Rural Project has been great for rural areas and farms. However, there are still areas in Dorset that do not have superfast broadband, let alone 5G! And some of those areas are not exactly rural. Moreton has no fibre broadband and is only 8 miles from Dorchester so is not exactly rural. The residents cannot even obtain a strong phone signal, some like me, not at all. There are no plans for fibre broadband in our area nor for a new transmission ariel to receive a mobile signal. Where do we fit in to the great scheme of supplying networks to 100% of Dorsets residents?
