Dorset Council is looking for volunteers who may be able to offer a couple of hours a week to help people get in the cycling saddle, as part of a new inclusive cycling initiative in Weymouth.
The inclusive cycling course will be on offer at the park and ride from spring this year, in partnership with national inclusive cycling charity, Wheels 4 All and is open to residents of Weymouth who may have accessibility needs or want to build up their confidence to ride a bicycle.

Volunteers are needed to help get the cycles ready for participants and would suit people who have a keen interest in cycling, bicycles or engineering.
It is hoped the sessions will help increase people’s levels of fitness and improve their mental wellbeing. There will be a range of cycles to try including trikes, recumbents, and side-by-sides.
This initiative is being funded by Dorset Council, Weymouth Town Council, The Nature, Art and Wellbeing Community Fund and Public Health Dorset.
If you think you would enjoy being part of a volunteering team for this activity, please call 01425 480811 or email healthandactivity@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
