A grant programme that can provide revenue support to arts, culture and heritage organisations within the Dorset Council area has opened for applications.
The latest round (3) of the Organisational Support Revenue Fund (OSRF) is now open until 6 October. It can support constituted and ‘not for profit’ cultural organisations such as accredited museums, arts, and heritage organisations to help with ongoing operating expenses.
Cultural organisations can apply for between £5,000 and £50,000 per year for up to three years. We expect high demand for funding, so the amount awarded to each organisation may be less than what they apply for.
Cllr Laura Beddow, Dorset Council’s Portfolio Holder for Culture and Communities, said:
“We want to encourage organisations who may not have applied before to come forward for this round of funding. Those that have a clear purpose and a culturally distinctive programme that is relevant to their communities will stand the best chance of success. This is especially true if they can clearly demonstrate how they make a positive difference to the lives of people in Dorset.”
Full details of the fund, how to apply and the criteria for award can be found on the Dorset Council website.
