Our highways maintenance gangs are out across the council area continuing to repair road damage.
They do this by resurfacing and, to allow this work to take place safely, the area of the road being worked on will be closed. Signed diversions will be in place.
We will do our best to keep residents updated if our schedule of work changes. The roads will be open outside of the hours given.
Update: Please note, due recent weather conditions, the following October work is taking longer, or is delayed:
High East/West Street Dorchester – now expected to take until 6am, Saturday 28 October
Bessells Lane and Telegraph Street, Shroton – now 25 to 30 October
French Mill Lane, Cann – now 31 October
Ratcliff’s Garden, Shaftesbury – Now 1 November
Lewell Way, Stafford Close and Glebe Way, West Knighton are unfortunately delayed until the new year as the contractor’s other commitments mean they cannot reschedule immediately.
9am to 4pm daily:
B3091 from Kitt Hill to Coles Lane junction, Guys Marsh – 1 to 10 November, will now be 2 to 11 November
8pm to 6am nightly
Dorchester Road, near Frampton – 3 to 8 November
Muckleford Road, Hampton – 8 to 17 November
Dorchester Road, Manor Road roundabout to Weymouth Bay Avenue, Weymouth – 13 to 16 November
