Our Easter arts, sports and music workshops for children will now be available online.

The Artz+ and Sportz+ workshops will be posted on Facebook every day at 2pm, find them @ArtzSportz
The workshops, which can be viewed at any time, offer everything from singalong fun with Mr Crow to ball game ideas using everyday items like rolled up socks.
Cllr Andrew Parry, Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Children, Education and Early Help, said: “I hope children will enjoy these workshops, they look a lot of fun.
“I also hope they’ll help parents and carers a bit. I realise so many of you are doing an amazing job looking after children at home to protect the NHS, while also working. This is not an easy time for many families and I do hope these workshops provide a little bit of cheer.
“If your child likes songs, games, music and sport, then why not give them a try.”
The Artz+ and Sportz+ workshops are usually run in the holidays for children with disabilities, but the online ones are suitable for all children. The videos usually last between five and 20 minutes and can be done inside or outside.
They will all be led by artists and coaches who specialise in working with children.
Dorset Council has also put together some useful online resources to help families. These include arts, crafts, books, audio, online learning platforms and other great resources. They are available here.
Thank you to everyone working for us to stay safe at home and keep pressure off the NHS
