Dorset Highways maintenance gangs are out across the county continuing to repair road damage.
To allow this work to take place safely, the area of the road being worked on will be closed.
Daytime road closures are 9am to 4pm and night work is usually from 8pm to 6am.
We will do our best to keep you updated if our schedule of work changes.

White Mill Bridge, Sturminster Marshall – 28 March to 22 April
24-hour closure for repairs to stone parapet following road collision
Bath Road, Sturminster Newton – 30 March to 2 April

B3159 closed at location 8pm to 6am
Pringles Drive and Pringles Close – 6 & 7 April

B3091 closed from Gupples Lane to Manston Gate Cottage – 1 April to 29 April
- 1 April to 13 April – resurfacing 9am to 4pm between Gupples Lane and Green Lane
- 14 April to 21 April – resurfacing 9am to 4pm Green Lane to Parsons Lane
- 22 April to 27 April – resurfacing 9am to 4pm Lower Breach Farm to Manston Gate
C13 closed in sections throughout weekdays in May, with no through access:
- 29 April to 11 May (including Saturday 7 May) – resurfacing 9am to 4pm between White Pit Lane & Gore Clump Farm
- 11 May to 17 May – resurfacing 9am to 4pm between Bushes Road & Sunrise Business Park
- 18 May to 1 June – resurfacing 9am to 4pm between Sutton Park & Tower Hill

Road maintenance
Using a variety of surface treatments ensures that more of Dorset Council’s roads get repaired with the budget available, compared to using resurfacing alone.
- In-situ recycling work is taking place on minor roads throughout the county
- Road preservation is underway on busy routes
- Our surface dressing programme will start on Monday 25 April
