Our highways maintenance gangs are out across the council area continuing to repair road damage.
They do this by resurfacing and, to allow this work to take place safely, the area of the road being worked on will be closed. Signed diversions will be in place.
We will do our best to keep residents updated if our schedule of work changes. The roads will be open outside of the hours given.
Fitzpain Close, West Parley – 3 and 4 May, closed 9am to 4pm daily.
Christchurch Road, West Parley – 22 May until 26 May, closed 8pm to 6am nightly.
Wimborne Street, Cranborne – 22 May, closed 9am to 4pm.
Edmondsham Road, Verwood – 23 May to 9 June – closed 9am to 4pm daily.

Keeping roads in good condition – surface dressing starts soon
Our spring series of surface dressing, helping to prevent potholes by providing a waterproof seal, starts week commencing 15 May. Look out for more information from us in May.

I commented about the subsidence on the A35 heading east from Charmouth to Morecombelake, and this has been fixed thank you.
There are also holes on the A35 heading east down the hill from Morecombelake to Charmouth, is there a chance these could be fixed please?

We are still waiting for a new date for Hornbeam Way in Wimborne to be resurfaced. This was cancelled at short notice last year due to an incident in Ferndown, with the assurance that it would be rescheduled this year. Can you please give an indication when this work will now be carried out please ?
Hi David, I understand the contractor who will do the work is being appointed this week with a view to the work being carried out this summer. When are you going to do something about the potholes in Bournemouth ? In particular around the road next to the college leading to the Lansdowne. These potholes are now dangerous.

Hi, in your list of road repairs, Christchurch Road at Parley will be closed May 22 – 26th 20.00 until 06.00.
Returning from Christchurch to Wimborne late on 16th May I found the road to be closed and had to detour via Ferndown. Is the published information incorrect?
Hi Clive, this is for resurfacing works taking place from 11 to 18 May https://one.network/?tmi=GB25559275. The closure planned for 22 – 26 May, east of Parley Cross has been postponed and is currently looking to be rescheduled to to the end of June. I am waiting for confirmation of exact dates.
