Dorset Council’s Historic Environment Team invites you to join them for an introduction to recent work and new developments in Dorset’s heritage, with speakers:

Roman coin

  • 6.30pm Recent Roman Coin Hoards from Dorset – Sam Moorhead, British Museum
  • 7.00pm The Work of the Receiver of Wreck – Kate Rogers, Assistant Receiver of Wreck
  • 7.30pm The Roman Town House Project – Steve Wallis, Dorset Council
  • 8.00pm The Dorset VIP Scheme (undergrounding electricity cables across the South Dorset Ridgeway) – Paul Hamnett, National Grid, and John Boothroyd, Oxford Archaeology

Presentations will last around 20 minutes, with questions at the end of each presentation.
