Event Type

Discover prehistoric monuments and a medieval chapel in a magnificent landscape setting, with Claire Pinder of Dorset Council.

Sensible clothing and footwear are recommended. The walk lasts about 2½ hours and is about 3½ miles long, with one fairly steep downhill slope. Please wear study footwear.

This walk is free to attend but if you enjoy your walk, please give a donation to the walk leader on the day.

Booking is required as numbers are limited. The group sizes will be kept small to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the grass parking area just off Drake’s Lane between Piddletrenthide and Cheselbourne at the entrance to Lyscombe Farm, DT2 7RF, grid reference SY 733 005
