Event Type

Studland was a prime location for a German invasion during World War Two. Plans and photographs reveal the locations of the anti-invasion defences that can still be seen in the landscape. Led by Pam White of the National Trust.

This walk is about 2 miles long and is expected to last around 2 hours. We’ll be walking along the beach and clambering over some uneven ground and slopes across the heath. Sturdy footwear please.

This walk is free to attend but if you enjoy your walk, please give a donation to the walk leader on the day.

Booking is required as numbers are limited. The group sizes will be kept small to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
