Dorset Council has begun the latest phase of its Library Strategy implementation, working with Library colleagues to invest in the development of the workforce and volunteers to deliver services that meet the needs of Dorset’s communities in the future.

Round 4 of the Household Support Fund (HSF) will reopen for applications at 9am on Wednesday 3 May 2023 for low-income households in the Dorset Council area.

The government’s Energy Bills Support Scheme Alternative Funding (EBSS Alternative Funding) is now open for applications. The EBSS Alternative Funding is a payment of £400 to households who do not have a direct relationship with an energy supplier and therefore were unable to previously receive it.
Update – Applications have now closed Low-income households in the Dorset Council area can apply for the next round of the Household Support Fund to help with rising costs. Applications open at 9am on Monday 9 January 2023.
