Dorset Highways maintenance gangs are out across the county continuing to repair road damage and maintain vital infrastructure.
Track removal along most of Custom House Quay is now complete and work is moving back into Commercial Road.
Essential maintenance work will start next month on Christchurch Road Bridge, a busy bridge used by local drivers and commuters on Hurn Road to cross over the A338 Bournemouth Spur Road at its northern end.
A consultation on the Dorset Council Local Plan begins on 18 January and will last until 15 March. Once adopted, the Local Plan will guide decisions on planning applications in Dorset until 2038.
Weymouth residents are being asked to have their say on proposals to enhance the harbour area for families, hospitality businesses and active travel.

A small number of chickens died suddenly and so were tested for bird flu. The results confirmed that they had contracted the H5N8 strain of the disease. The small number of remaining birds at the premises have been humanely culled.
