How do we channel the creativity we had when we were young into the workplace today?
Our tenth Digital Network, the first for 2022 and our first ever hybrid session; invites you to explore that question and more.
Helping us will be Dorset entrepreneur Steve Schofield who is leading the innovation team at a rapidly growing international tech company.
Steve, Head of Labs & Ventures at MURAL, will describe how he’s using collaborative tools from his rural home to work with colleagues around the world.
He will explain how technology like AR and VR can help create the same richness in our relationships with online colleagues as we have with people in the real world.
And the first ten people to sign up to join the meeting can try Steve’s VR collaborative environment as we all imagine the future and the challenges and opportunities it may present.
We will also be joined by leading tech teacher Alex More and students from Shaftesbury School.
They will examine how their creativity differs from older people’s. We’ll find out as they help us imagine their future and what they might be doing in ten or 20 years.
‘Classroom Creativity to Workplace Innovation’, this event will be held live at County Hall in Dorchester and also beamed through your device, on Thursday 28 April from 10am to 12 noon.
