Progress towards our digital vision

In February, we reported to Dorset Council Cabinet the progress we have been making with our ambition to create a digital council in a digital place. We explained how we will support our refreshed Council Plan, with emphasis on cabinet commitment 10, which focuses on Digital Innovation and helping Dorset Council to become a more responsive and customer-focused council.

We shared our delivery plan for the next 18 months and turned our themes into missions, which are the following:

1. Digital skills & inclusivity for all 
2. Becoming a data-driven & intelligent council 
3. Designing future services and one customer account 
4. Modern, secure, and sustainable technology and infrastructure 
5. We foster innovation.
