A tale of…
DIGITAL DORSET
Our tale begins a long time ago,
early 2020 but little did we know…
Teams & Zoom was something new,
having virtual meetings was a taboo
We got locked down and had to act fast,
adapting at home so we could outlast.
Joining the community we rattled our heads,
#DorsetTogether to provide food and meds.
This year has been up and down like Dorset’s hills,
but we won an award for Digital skills.
Digital champions at work and in the community,
learning new skills, bringing people together and creating unity.
In 5 weeks we planned an amazing event,
the Festival of the Future and all its content.
We had 65 speakers and 100s attend,
showcasing Dorset and its Digital trends.
Our vision from last year got out of date fast,
we ran Dorset Reloaded and put Alex May on the task.
‘Make a new graphic, everything’s changed now’,
the importance of data, customer needs and a texting cow!
2021 is coming round fast,
we have some big plans which we will soon broadcast.
A new customer platform and a Dorset digital academy,
more service design, innovation, and pilots for 5G.
