Social Care we had completed a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/news.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk\/digital-first\/2023\/01\/13\/how-digital-and-understanding-peoples-needs-could-help-transform-adult-social-care\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">discovery<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> exercise about how digital and understanding people&#8217;s needs could help to transform adult social care. The work identified opportunities to improve our \u2018front door\u2019 to reduce the strain on the first contact team and improve the experience and outcomes for residents. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559685&quot;:540,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Redbridge was seeking partners to be involved in a <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">12-week<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> discovery looking at how residents get in touch with Adult Social Care (ASC)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We felt we could contribute to the work and it would help us with ideas and learning to consider how we tackle some of the priorities we had identified.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559685&quot;:540,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Redbridge work focuses on improving awareness, information<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and advice for residents, so that people feel more able to help themselves, sooner. Over 100 people from different groups were involved in the conversation, including the first contact team (FCT), residents, GPs and community organisations using pop-up research sessions, interviews possible solutions, we can consider how they might support our transformation in Dorset with the potential for re-use here.<\/span><span
