In order to improve the way we support local businesses, Christchurch and East Dorset Councils are looking to build an ‘e-panel’ of businesses from across our two council areas. The aim of the e-panel is to improve how we support businesses by giving local companies input to the design of our support services.
Made up of local businesses across different sectors, members of the e-panel will receive emails about the work we would like to do, with the invitation to add business opinions and ideas to these discussions. The advice we have received from businesses has proven to be invaluable in the past and we would like to consult with more businesses. We currently have 11 businesses on the panel so far but would like to extend this to around 30.
Laura Green from The Butchers Dog Public House Wimborne who currently sits on the e-panel has said:
“We are pleased to be working with the Regulatory Business support to help shape workable and valuable practises and procedures as we set up our own small business in Wimborne. This is why we feel it is important to sit on the E-Panel so we can ensure more businesses benefit from this service.”
The primary objective of this e-panel is to aid economic growth across Christchurch and East Dorset. By inviting local businesses to have a voice and influence on our regulatory business support services we aim to benefit businesses and ensure they have the best opportunities to develop. We hope many local businesses will join us for this new programme and help shape the future of our Regulatory Business Support.
We welcome all businesses across the Christchurch and East Dorset area to be involved regardless of size or sector. If you would like to be involved please contact:
