Visit to Leigh Rd

Michael Tomlinson MP visits Leigh Road Sustainable Transport Improvement Works.

Michael Tomlinson, the Member of Parliament for Mid Dorset and North Poole, paid a visit last week to the sustainable transport improvement works currently being carried out on Leigh Road and Wimborne Road West.  The visit was at the invitation of Dorset Council Portfolio Holder for Highways, Travel and Environment, Cllr Ray Bryan.

New Artists commissioned by Dorset Council to undertake a Weymouth Public Art Trail Community art programme – ‘Past Present and Future’

Following a successful Arts Council England application by Dorset Council, interviews were held last week in which two Bristol based artists – Alec Stevens and Jo Kimber were appointed. Jo is a Creative Producer and talented writer and Alec is a skilled illustrator and sculptor.
