Fine morning. I visit the Palace of Justice, Museum & several other places, have dinner at the same café & find I’ve missed the train so go for another one & catch the train at 5.45 pm for La Louviere, arrive there about 7.10 pm & catch the last tram arriving home about 9.0 pm. Bonne.

Fine day. Go round the town, visit several churches, Botanical Gardens etc. Have a nice dinner at small café off Grand Boulevard. See Royal Guard change on the Palace, not much. Theatre Monnaix at night “Louise” very nice indeed & enjoy it. Mad Edvina leading lady.

Fine day but cold. I go to Brussels by the 12.30 train. Very cold. Arrive 4.30 pm & go to the Hotel C? & get a bed. Have tea & go for a walk round. It snows at night very heavy so go to the Coliseum Picture Show very good. Get to bed about 11.0 pm but am cold so don’t sleep too well.

Some rain again in the morning but fine later. Not much doing, quiet day.

Fine morning, but some rain at night. Nothing doing all day only Lc [Lance Corporal] Walkers case. I dress up as a Gille & look very well. The Padre & Dr. go away.

Wet day & nothing doing, very miserable.

Showers again, but finer in the afternoon.
