Battalion paraded at 2 pm. & marched to ACHEUX PARK for an inspection by H.M.King George & Monsieur Poincare, President of the French Republic, of the 10^th Brigade (48 Division) 1/6^th Oxford & Bucks L.I. & 11^th R.War. R (37^th Division) at 3 pm. After the Royal Salute His Majesty inspected the Troops, walking round the line & the President of the French Republic presented medals to a number of officers. A second Royal Salute was given as His Majesty left the Saluting Base. He was accompanied by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales. General Count Gleichen was in command of the parade. Col Foster was in command of the Brigade, Major Bannerman being in Command of the Battalion. The weather was very bad for the parade, incessant rain & a cold N.E. wind .
