Church Parade at 11 am. Battalion marched to Trenches at 4.40pm. & relieved 2nd Monmouthshire Regt.. Trenches bad & relief took a long time. 1 Coy of R.. Irish Rifles (36th Ulster Division) on right. A, B Coy in front line, “C” in Reserve. D Coy in Brigade Reserve in ELLES SQUARE. Dublin Fusiliers on our right, Seaforths on our left. Battery covering our front 127th Battery R.F.A.
