Sunny day. Aircraft very busy  Enemy fired few Shrapnel on front line. Quiet day. Relieved by R.IR.FUS. at 8pm. & marched to FORCEVILLE.

Dull all day. Our guns shelled Enemy trenches and wire – no retaliation. Snipers very active in right sector. 1 man killed. Quiet night.

One man killed. Lieut. Holley wounded. Light mist falling all day. No activity during morning. Our Artillery very active in afternoon, shelling Enemy Wire and trenches.

Div. Band played in village in evening. Battalion relieved R. IRISH FUS. & relief carried out by 8.45pm. Seaforth Highlanders on our left, 107th Bde. On our right.
