Battalion marched off at 8.45 am. And proceeded to AGENVILLE arriving at 2.30 pm. Very close day and hard marching. Billets very bad.

Slept in school.

Fine sunny day. Battalion marched at 9.15 am. To NEUVILLETTE and billeted.

2 May ST. AMAND

Sunny day. Battalion marched off at 10 am. Via HENU, PAS, GRENAS to HALLOY and arrived 1pm. Rain in afternoon.

Got 2 Barrels English beer from Mondicourt. Drums played in camp. Enemy raided Salient causing considerable damage.
