Fine morning but rather dull. Lot of troops on the move. Fritz shells again & drops one in Schramm Bks. One side armistice from 7.0 am until tomorrow. Our side no shooting etc.

Fine but dull. Adjt comes down to go on Brigade. Fritz shells again rather heavy.

Fine morning. Fritz shells our direction again with HV Gun.

Wet morning & strong wind. Coys are not able to go out. We get sudden orders about 2.10pm to move into the line again to relieve East Lancs, not at all a good order. Coys move up at 5.15pm.

Bttn cleans up. We find a working party of 32 in afternoon. Fine day very cold & strong wind. Sg PITT returns from leave.

Fine morning very strong wind. We move up to camp near TILLOY. Bttn relieved by 3/10 Middx & come back to camp. Very cold night.

Fine morning generally. Fritz opens at 6.0am & fires intermittently all day, but I don’t think there was much damage. Hear BOWLER was in Arras but couldn’t see him.

Fine morning, aircraft very active. Bosche planes well over our lines, firm shooting.

Wet miserable day. I go down to 10^th FA & see the dentist 9.0am, he cleans my tooth & puts fibre in to kill the nerve. Attend next Thursday.

Dull & inclined to rain. Wet afternoon. I go out in afternoon to 10^th Fd Amb [Field Ambulance] & pm see SM LOVEBAND but can’t get tooth seen to until tomorrow.
