Fine day, I go up Berts in the morning. All Saints Church in afternoon, not nice, go to Grove Church in evening, very nice. We take Dolly with us.

Fine morning. I go up on the Verne & see the Canteen Manager, get a few things including some currants.

Dull day very foggy. We don’t go out. A. Sansome, Mrs Wheeler & the Misses Cleall come up & we spend a very pleasant time.

Fine day. We go out in the afternoon & to a dance at night. Have a very good time, get home about 12.30am. Mrs Talbot buried in afternoon.

Fine day. I go out for a walk in the morning & then out with Mama in the afternoon. Take the boys out for the first time. A. Sansome, Mrs Wheeler, Linda & Hilda Cleall visit us, have a good time & spend a very pleasant evening.
