Fine day, I go up Berts in the morning. All Saints Church in afternoon, not nice, go to Grove Church in evening, very nice. We take Dolly with us.

Fine day. We go underhill in the afternoon & see A. Sansome. Out at night.

Fine morning. I go up on the Verne & see the Canteen Manager, get a few things including some currants.

Dull day very foggy. We don’t go out. A. Sansome, Mrs Wheeler & the Misses Cleall come up & we spend a very pleasant time.

Fine day. We go out in the afternoon & to a dance at night. Have a very good time, get home about 12.30am. Mrs Talbot buried in afternoon.

Dull & wet all day, we run out at night but no more.

Fine day but dull. I go out in morning & in afternoon & evening with Mama, have a good time.

Fine day. I go out for a walk in the morning & then out with Mama in the afternoon. Take the boys out for the first time. A. Sansome, Mrs Wheeler, Linda & Hilda Cleall visit us, have a good time & spend a very pleasant evening.

I go underhill. It’s wet. Change money order & get sugar tickets.

Fine day. I go out in the morning to see what I can get but all meat shops closed. No bonne.
