Fine day.

Wet morning. Fine later. Bessies birthday (14). Dolly & Lena go up & have tea. Mother & Father have tea with us we play cards at night until I go up & bring the children home.

Fine. We go out in the afternoon & visit Bessie. Quiet time.

Fine day. Washing day no bonne. We stay in & have a quiet time.

Wet day & very windy we can’t go out. Mother & Father came down to tea & we go to Grove Church at night. Day of National Prayer.

Fine day. Claude ill with measles. Doctor comes in & put in quarantine again. Mama very pleased.

Fine day. We go for a nice walk round the Verne & Grove, spend a nice time.

Fine day. We go out & have a good time. Bessie & the children come down to tea spend a pleasant evening.

Fine day. Spend the morning cleaning up my souvenirs. Take them up to the Bazaar in the afternoon & stay there till about 8.0pm. Have a very good time. Take 33/- Meet lots of people I know.

Fine day very cold with a little snow. Spend a pleasant day with Father & Mother, go up in the afternoon  & see the curate at the school, nice evening spend a very nice time.
