Fine day. Rest & clean up. Get orders at 12.30 pm to line the Lillers-Bomecques road for the King. Bttn returns about 4.30pm.

Fine day but cloudy, we get good news again from the South, plenty of prisoners etc. Bttn [Battalion] relieved in line by 1st R Bgde [1st Rifle Brigade]

Fine morning, slight showers later. We run off the trials in the afternoon for the Corps show & do very well. Col Marriott to Hospt [Hospital] at night.

Fine day. Commemoration Service at L’Eclame for the 4 years of war. Div Horse Show in the afternoon.

Dull morning & showers again. Div Horse Show starts, but we don’t do very well 3rd in Cooker & Limber.

Enemy Arty put down Barrage on Left Battalion & attempts a raid which is repulsed.

Very wet day. Horse Show should have started but is cancelled on account of rain. Chaplain wounded at L’Eclame.
