Fine day. Dick & I go out for a walk in the morning, Mam & I go for a nice walk. Dick goes back at night by 9.0pm from Portland. Leave Weymouth 9.50pm.

Fine day. Have a very nice time. Mrs Wheeler & Annie Sansome come up to tea. Mama & I have a nice walk.

Fine day. I go to Lodge in afternoon, have a nice time, get home about 10.30pm.

Fine day, we all keep up Xmas & have a good time. Go to Grove Church at night, very nice.

Fine day. Dick & I go to Weymouth, have a look around, but all very quiet, get home again about 3.30pm. Quiet time.

Dull morning I get up early & have breakfast, pde [parade] with first party about 6.30am & march off, get on board alright & sail about 8.30am. Arrive Dover about 10.am get train & arrive London 1.0pm. Catch train from Waterloo 2.0pm, arrive

Weymouth 6.10pm very good journey. Arrive Portland about 7.0pm & meet Dick he looks well. We get home about 8.0pm pretty tired.
