Mild again. I get up in the afternoon & feel alright except tired, to bed again at 9.0 pm. Some rain at night.

Mild again. I stay in bed. The drums have their inspection in the afternoon.

Bed with Bronchitis, but feel a lot better. Dr. comes & takes temp but luckily it’s normal or I should have to go to Hospital.

Still in bed & feeling sick. Temo 101 morning 102 night. Get well looked after.

Very cold again, but a change in the weather. I go to bed bad with Bronchitis, fairly seedy Temp 101-103. Dr. visits & says hospital but I say no.

Very sharp frost again. I still feel seedy but go round with the Gen & Col [General & Colonel] to visit billets, malade at night.

Sharp frost very cold, the pain in my back & side gets worse so I see the Dr. He examines me & says it is a patch of bronchitis & I’m to put 2 mus [mustard] plasters on, which I do & they give me a hot time.

Sharp frost again. I don’t like the cold & have got a rotten cold, had it now for a fortnight & it don’t get better.

Sharp frost again, very cold, not much doing.
