22 Jun Trenches – AUCHONVILLERS
Enemy Artillery normal today. 15 heavy Trench Mortars fell in left of “C” Coy. No damage. Heavy thunderstorm in afternoon which made trenches very wet and muddy.
21 Jun Trenches – AUCHONVILLERS
“A” & “B” Cys shelled a good deal in the morning. 1 killed 1 wounded B Coy. 5 shells (8”) sent into AUCHONVILLERS about 12.30.
20 Jun Trenches – AUCHONVILLERS
Quiet day. Few Field Gun Shells fired into “A”Coy’s trench. British Aeroplane brought down near SERRE by Enemys Anti-Aircraft Guns. Work done on front line & Assembly trenches.
19 Jun Trenches – AUCHONVILLERS
“B” Coy’s Bombers bombed Crater near REDAN on night of 18th. No Germans seen. Our front line shelled by 4.2’s between 2.45 & 3.30 pm. 10 Casualties. About 20 “Whizz Bangs”[grenade] fired into “B” Coy’s Sector, also Trench Mortars – no damage.

Battalion relieved 2nd R.DUB.Fusiliers in trenches AUCHONVILLERS Sector. Very quiet night.

Wet day. R.E. Working Parties found for work in TENDERLOIN, VALLADE & ASSEMBLY TRENCHES. Major G N B FORSTER arrived and took over our Command of Battalion. Village not shelled today.
