22nd July- HOUTKERQUE
Marched off at 8 am. To GODWAERSVELDE arriving 12 noon. Entrained 1 pm. & train left 2.45 pm. Proceeded via ST. POL and arrived DOULLENS at 10 pm. Disentrained & marched to FRESCHERVILLERS (2 ½ miles) & went into bivouac in field, poured in torrents all night.
21st July
Demonstration by R.E. in making wire entanglements. Packing up ready for move.
20th July
Inspection of Division by F. Marshall [sic] Sir John French, C in C. He congratulated the 10th Brigade on their fine work during 2nd Battle of Ypres. Transport won Football League.
19th July
Route march at 9 am. About 9 miles.

General Plumer inspected 10th Brigade & complimented them on their fine work in 2nd Battle of Ypres. Coy Football League started. Heavy rain in evening.
