22nd February: LA CRECHE
Battalion rests. Fine day.
21st February: TRENCHES – ST YVES
Very quiet day, no shelling. Relieved by 2nd R DUB FUS [Royal Dublin Fusiliers] in evening. Germans opened M.Gun [machine gun] fire on relief, no casualties. Battalion marched to LA CRECHE.
20th February: TRENCHES – ST YVES
Slight thunderstorm during the day. Very little shelling. No casualties.
19th February: TRENCHES – ST YVES
Slight shelling of BOREEN. Very quiet day. 1 wounded.
18th February: TRENCHES – ST YVES
Seven “White Hopes” dropped on St Yves during the day. Twelve “Little Willie’s” about the BOREEN. Snipers active. 2 killed 1 wounded. 2nd Lieut Hunt joined the Battalion.
17th February: POINT 63
Very wet day. Relieved R DUB FUS [Royal Dublin Fusiliers] in trenches in evening. Trenches awful for mud.
16th February: POINT 63
Working parties as on 15th. Coy [Company] Commanders reconnoitre covered ways to DOUVE Section.
15th February: POINT 63
“B” did work in morning, “C” & “D” in evening. Fine.

“A” Coy found working party in morning “C” & “D” in evening. Wet day.
