22nd November: POINT 63
Quiet day. Battalion relieved R DUBLIN FUS. in trenches at St Yves between 5-30 & 8.30 pm. Quiet night. No casualties.
21st November: Trenches – ARMENTIERES.
Battalion marched off 2.30 pm to POINT 63 near PLOEGSTEERT & took over Reserve billets from Seaforth Highldrs.”A” & “D” at COURT DREVE Farm. “B” & “C”at Pigeries.[sic] “C” Coy [company] in trench at night covering road to MESSINES. Quiet night. Frosty.
20th November: NIEPPE
Men bathing & clean clothes issued. Moved into clean billets at Brewery at ARMENTIERES.
19th November: NIEPPE
Snow in morning. Men resting. Battalion is now in Divisional Reserve.
18th November: Trenches – HOUPLINES
Fine morning. Frosty & cold. Remainder of Battalion relieved at night by LEINSTER REGT & went into billets at NIEPPE. Everyone glad to be out of the trenches after 32 days.
17th November: Trenches – HOUPLINES
Fine morning. Very cold. Quiet day. “C” Coy & ½ of “D” Coy relieved at night by Argyle & Sutherland Highldrs & went to Nieppe. 1 casualty. Quiet night. Frosty.
16th November: Trenches – HOUPLINES
Rain all morning. Quiet day. Little Shelling and Sniping. No casualties.
