Fine day. Dick & I go to Weymouth, have a look around, but all very quiet, get home again about 3.30pm. Quiet time.

Dull morning I get up early & have breakfast, pde [parade] with first party about 6.30am & march off, get on board alright & sail about 8.30am. Arrive Dover about 10.am get train & arrive London 1.0pm. Catch train from Waterloo 2.0pm, arrive

Weymouth 6.10pm very good journey. Arrive Portland about 7.0pm & meet Dick he looks well. We get home about 8.0pm pretty tired.

Fine morning. I go out & say Goodbye to all my friends. Walk down to the stn with Mama & the girls. Leave by 1.30pm from Portland. Leave Weymouth 2.10 pm & have a nice journey to SHampton arriving about 5.0 pm. Have tea in a restaurant then go aboard the S.S. MONAS QUEEN. Not many furlo men aboard, but about 1,000 U.S.A. Repair? Unit. Leave SHampton about 7.30 pm. I get a bunk on board & turn in about 10.0 pm

Fine morning. I go out.

Dull damp morning. I go out for a walk. Also in afternoon have a fine ramble down Church Hope and out over Chine. Go to rehearsal at night “My Turn Next” Very good.

Fine morning, Bert & I go for a nice walk. Mama & I go out in the afternoon. I go & see Bert off at night. Visit theatre see Ali Baba & the 40 Thieves. Fair.

Fine day. Mama & I go for a walk in the afternoon, have a nice time. Go to Lodge at night with Bert & occupy (?) chair for a short time.

Fine day, I go up Berts in the morning. All Saints Church in afternoon, not nice, go to Grove Church in evening, very nice. We take Dolly with us.
