Fine morning. I go out for a stroll in the morning, just like spring.

Fine day. We get busy with the girls, go out at night, see Bess & find they are in the same plight. Call Mrs. Matts but she is not at home.

Fine morning, get a shock early, Mama comes up & tells me Dolly has measles. Doctor comes about 12.30pm & confirms it, puts me in quarantine for 21 days & sends cert to Bttn. I go to Lodge at night & have a very good time.

Very rough day with snow & rain. We go up to Mothers to dinner & tea etc. spend a very nice time come home about 10.0pm, snow & rain

Fine morning, but very cold wind we go out & do a bit of shopping, it’s very cold but we have a nice time.

Fine day we go out in the morning & have a very good time. Dinner at 12.0 noon.  Leave Leamington Stn 1.0pm, change at Reading. See Mrs. Nevill for a few minutes. Leave Reading at 3.45pm through crack to Weymouth arriving 8.10pm. Portland about 9.0pm. Home about 9.30pm find them all very well, glad to get home again.

Go out in the morning for a walk, lovely day. Mrs Reeves, Joe, Charlie, L Brannon, Edith & Ethel came to see us & we spend a very pleasant day, go over Wk about 9.0pm at night & see Lizzie & Alice, then home about 10.30pm. very good day.

10. Fine morning. We go out about 10.30am. Visit pay office & see HESSING, then on to Budbrooks across the common. Arrive there 12.0 noon see SM KEAY, CSM HOBBS, LANGSTON, BM HARTMAN, Sgnt MEAL & several others, have dinner there & a very good time. Leave about 3.0pm visit Emma at Wk stay there till about 4.30pm then on to Alice at Pay Office & from there to Lizzies arrive home about 7.30pm very good day.

Fine morning very cold. We leave Easton 9.8 for Leam [Leamington] get two concession tickets, leave Weymouth 10.3am change Winchester, Basingstoke & Reading. Have a good meal at Basingstoke & see CSM SAWYER RB arrive Leam 7.8pm Mother & Alice to meet us. Spend quiet evening.
