Fine but not a very good day, we do a bit of practice for trooping the colours & get on alright.

Very wet day & not much doing. R ½ Bttn play left half in league match, the latter win 4-0.  I go to Bouvrin in the evening & spend a very pleasant time.

Wet morning. We do some slow marching in the drill shed & get on very well. Quiet time.

Wet day & we don’t do a lot only pass the time away. I meet the other family in the house Madame LEBEAU, SUSANNE & MARIETTE. Very nice people indeed.
