19 Mar. HUMBERCAMP
Battalion marched to BIENVILLERS near POMMIER. Germans shelled BIENVILLERS-POMMIER Road with Heavies. 1 man of B Coy. Wounded. Some narrow escapes. Very good Billets.
18 Mar. HUMBERCAMP
Fine day. Coys do little training. Officers played R. Irish Fus. Officers at Rugby & won 6 points to 3.
17 Mar MONDICOURT
Battalion left MONDICOURT & marched to HUMBERCAMP & billeted. Roads very bad but men march well.
Billet in Hut.
16 Mar. MONDICOURT
Fine day. Battalion practiced attack same as yesterday. A party of Officers & NCO’s attended a demonstration of German Flammenwerfer. Final of Inter Platoon Football. Competition replayed – No 12 Platoon beat No 5 – 3-0.
15 Mar. MONDICOURT
Fine day, quite warm. Battalion under Lt. Colonel BANNERMAN practiced the attack on trenches at HURTE BISE Farm. General LAMBTON & Bd. General WILDING watched the attack. Final of inter – platoon football competition played – drawn game.
