Little sniping during the night. Wet all day. Hostile shelling at intervals. Our guns made good shooting on the AVENUE. 1 killed C Coy [Company].

No sniping all day. Weather very showery. Work on digging trenches continued. No casualties.

Relieved 2nd R.DUBLIN FUS at ST YVES in evening. C &D Coys [companies] start digging new trenches. Poured with rain in evening & during the night.
