Very hot day. Battalion practice Attack- Counter Attack & Consolidation.
Left Agenville at 8.0am. marched to GAPENNESÂ arrived about 11.am.

Arrived Havre at 1.0pm & entrained. Left Havre at 5.0 & arrived at Caudas about 6.0pm. Marched to Agenville. Btn. had left stayed in School m.[masters] House.

Fine day. Drove Weymouth. Left Weymouth at ?pm & arrived Southampton 5.30. Boat left at 7.0pm.

Fine day. Out in morning. Down [weirs?] in afternoon. Picnic. Tea out. Sg.& Mrs. PITT came on visit from Bournemouth. Very nice time.
