Residents who wouldn’t usually ask for help are being encouraged to reach out for support early as the cost of living rises and Dorset Council is working with its partners to signpost people to the right place to meet their circumstances.

Dorset Council is reminding families feeling the financial squeeze to check if their child could receive a free daily lunch at school. This could save them up to £450 per year per child.
