The Studland Bay Marine Partnership has been awarded £186,000 from the Marine Management Organisation’s Fisheries and Seafood Scheme to support the conservation of Studland Bay’s precious marine ecosystems.

Over the past year, a volunteer team has been working hard to redisplay Dorset’s smallest museum, the Corfe Castle Town Trust Museum at Corfe Castle, in Purbeck.
The Urban Heaths Partnership (UHP), Litter Free Dorset (LFD) and Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) are working together to raise awareness of the risk of wildfires on heathland and forests during the soaring summer temperatures.
A vital programme to improve and prevent the loss of precious heathland and its rarest inhabitants, will start this autumn.
