Dorset Council’s Cabinet has taken the decision to defer their “Council tax premiums on second homes and empty properties” report to allow more councillors to be involved before a decision is made.
Dorset Council has published its initial proposals to deliver a balanced budget next financial year, 2023-24. The council’s total net budget for 2023-24 will be £348 million.
Dorset Council is highlighting the problem of long-term empty properties during Empty Homes Week, 15 – 21 February 2021.
