Following yesterday’s (Sunday 15 November) fire incident at our Crookhill waste depot in Chickerell, we have begun the process of clearing the site and planning for waste collections in the Weymouth and Portland areas.
It’s been over a month since Dorset Council re-opened its household recycling centres (HRCs, or “the tip”) after they were closed in the early stages of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Garden Waste customers have reason to be pleased as Dorset Council will be resuming its garden waste kerbside collections from Monday 27 April.
With household recycling centres (HRCs) currently closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Dorset Council is asking people to help them in the fight against fly-tipping.
