Local voluntary and community organisations across the county have been awarded a total of £209,689 in financial support from Dorset Council in recent months to help with their running costs.
Round 3 of funding for youth projects is open, with grants of up to £5,000 available.
The first round of Dorset Council’s community and culture project has awarded £42,484 to 15 local organisations.
Business support grants are being automatically paid by Dorset Council to qualifying businesses.
Business owners in the Dorset Council area are being reminded they can apply for financial support if they are affected by the current Tier 2 restrictions, or by the previous national lockdowns.
Dorset Council Community Impact Fund (DCIF) round 5 is now open for applications. The fund aims to provide support to local groups and organisations that are helping vulnerable people and their local communities to recover and stay safe after the easing of lockdown.
